Basketball Recap: Curtis Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Curtis fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They rang in the new year with a 65-56 victory over the Yelm Tornados on Friday. That's two games straight that the Vikings have won by exactly nine points.

Curtis' win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-7. As for Yelm, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Curtis will welcome Bethel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Curtis is facing Bethel at the right time seeing as Bethel is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Yelm, they will head out on the road to take on Emerald Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
