Softball Recap: Grand Haven Takes a Loss

The Grand Haven Buccaneers came up short against the Beal City Aggies on Saturday and fell 9-6. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grand Haven's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Beal City, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-3 record this season.

Grand Haven is taking a road trip to challenge Rockford at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.5 runs per game on average), something the Buccaneers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Beal City, they will challenge Woodhaven at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Aggies surely won't give up without a fight.
