Volleyball Recap: Brownstown Central Takes Down Heritage Hills in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Brownstown Central had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Heritage Hills Patriots as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Braves sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Sophie Wischmeier had another great game (as she tends to do), getting 24 kills and 13 digs. She has been hot, having posted ten or more kills the last five times she's played. Finley Wheeler was another key player, getting five digs and one block.

Brownstown Central's win bumped their record up to 29-5. As for Heritage Hills, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 21-13.

Brownstown Central has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Roncalli on the 1st. Heritage Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
