Spanish Fort entered their tilt with Homewood on Saturday with eight consecutive wins dating back to last season, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 2-0. The Toros have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Zoe Beech paced Spanish Fort's offense, picking up eight kills. Beech got some help from Cailyn Boykin and her 15 assists. Boykin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Spanish Fort's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Homewood, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
