After a string of three wins, Roscoe's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 61-51 to the Seymour Panthers. The Plowboys lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in December of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 68-20 score last time.

Roscoe's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-4. As for Seymour, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 21-3.

Roscoe and Seymour should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Roscoe (ranked 489th) will meet Colorado (ranked 1542nd) at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Seymour will take on Archer City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday up 1,013 places (303 vs. 1316).
