Coronado had won ten straight home games dating back to last season and TRU HALVORSEN did her part to make it 11 on Saturday. The Cougars walked away with a 2-0 win over the Durango Trailblazers thanks in part to HALVORSEN, who had 19 assists and four digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 19 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Coronado never let Durango on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-12.

Coronado's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Durango, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.

Looking ahead, Coronado will take on Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Cougars' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Durango will be paying especially close attention to Coronado's contest: after Coronado faces off against Las Vegas, they'll take on Durango again at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
