Softball Recap: A.C. Reynolds Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact A.C. Reynolds can now relate to. They lost 14-0 to the South Caldwell Spartans on Tuesday. The Rockets have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

A.C. Reynolds' loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for South Caldwell, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season.

A.C. Reynolds does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Caldwell, they will square off against Piedmont on Friday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
