Baseball Recap: Tolar Comes Up Short

Tolar suffered their closest loss since March 21, 2025 on Friday. They fell just short of the Holliday Eagles by a score of 12-10. The Rattlers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2018.

Rowdy Tryon made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Noah Yanish, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Tolar's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Holliday, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Tolar will venture away from home to face off against Clyde at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Holliday, they will face off against Hawley at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
