Basketball Game Preview: Americas Trail Blazers vs. Horizon Scorpions

The Americas Trail Blazers are taking a road trip to take on the Horizon Scorpions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Americas will be strutting in after a victory while Horizon will be coming in after a defeat.

Americas picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They ended the year with a bang, routing Abernathy 64-41. The Trail Blazers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Horizon was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 44-17 loss at the hands of El Dorado.

Americas' win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Horizon, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Everything came up roses for Americas against Horizon in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, as the squad secured a 54-4 victory. Does Americas have another victory up their sleeve, or will Horizon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
