Football Recap: Mosley Dolphins vs. Arnold Marlins

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mosley). They breezed by the Arnold Marlins to the tune of 56-14 on Friday. The Dolphins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 25 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Sammy Freitas, who threw for 170 yards and three touchdowns while completing 92.3% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Chisolm, who rushed for 25 yards and two touchdowns.

Mosley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Eli Zediker and Jack Massey. Another thorn in Arnold's side was Will Arboleda, who picked up three sacks and made eight total tackles.

Despite the loss, Arnold still got an impressive performance from Truman Parsons, who picked up 90 receiving yards and a touchdown. Parsons really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 75 yards.

The win for Mosley keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. As for Arnold, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Mosley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 48-7 victory against Gulf Breeze on the 24th. Arnold has also already played their next match, a 16-14 win against Rickards on the 25th.
