Worcester Academy was sadly handed a defeat on Saturday, but Jackson Charney did his best to prevent it. Charney was dynamite, tossing 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.
