Volleyball Recap: Hickman Takes a Loss

Hickman lost against Camdenton back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Kewpies took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakers. The Kewpies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Hickman started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-16, 25-11, 25-23.

Kaylie Brinkley paced Hickman's offense, picking up 13 kills. Brinkley got some help from Jaiden Moore and her 17 assists.

Hickman's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for Camdenton, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3-3.

Hickman has already played their next match (against Battle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Camdenton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Osage on the 25th.
