City of Life Christian Academy came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 53-48 victory over the Legacy Charter Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead City of Life Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nathan Thompson, who posted 13 points and five steals. Thompson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Jahkeema King was another key player, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 13 boards.

City of Life Christian Academy's record is now 6-3. As for Legacy Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

City of Life Christian Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Altamonte Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
