Basketball Recap: Grundy County/Newtown-Harris Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Grundy County/Newtown-Harris won the last time they faced Tri-County and things went their way on Friday too. The Grundy County/Newtown-Harris Panthers snuck past the Tri-County Mustangs with a 32-28 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grundy County/Newtown-Harris to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kinsley Allnutt, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Allnutt has scored at least a third of Grundy County/Newtown-Harris' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexa Stonger, who posted seven points and five steals.
