Football Recap: St. Joseph Falls Short Against Ranked New Canaan

St. Joseph faced New Canaan in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Cadets fell 7-3 to the Rams. Surprisingly, this marked the Cadets' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

St. Joseph's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for New Canaan, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. St. Joseph will take on Ridgefield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for New Canaan, they will square off against Danbury at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will be up against the Hatters' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
