Recap: Valley View Cougars vs. Dallas Mountaineers
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Valley View Cougars can now relate to. They fell just short of Dallas by a score of 21-18. Valley View was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Dallas apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Several Cougars players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kyle Rupp, who picked up 115 receiving yards and a touchdown. Rupp's longest reception was for an incredible 99 yards.
Valley View's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Dallas, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
Valley View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Dallas also has no future games currently scheduled.
