Volleyball Recap: Eisenhower's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Eisenhower came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Conneaut Area Eagles.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (105-98) Eisenhower actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 11-25, 25-22, 25-21, 15-12.

Paisley Lawson paced Eisenhower's offense, picking up 15 kills. Lawson got some help from Alanna Byrd and her 14 assists. Layla Edwards controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Eisenhower's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Conneaut Area, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6-1.

Coming up, Eisenhower will host West Middlesex at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Conneaut Area, they will be playing at home against Saegertown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
