Dow has gone 9-1 against Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Chargers will take on the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Dow has three straight wins, Central has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Dow strolled past Traverse City West with points to spare, taking the game 31-13. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Titans are ranked 94th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Central came up short against Saginaw United on Friday, falling 28-6. The matchup marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Dow's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything came up roses for Dow against Central in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chargers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
