Soccer Game Preview: Pender vs. Farmville Central + How To Watch

The Pender Patriots will face off against the Farmville Central Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pender's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Pender is headed into Tuesday's match following a draw, the team's first since September 8. Neither they nor Heide Trask could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The outcome might've been different if Adam Arreola hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Meanwhile, Farmville Central fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Tarboro on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Farmville Central haven't been shut out since back in September.

With that draw, Pender's record moves to 9-11-3. As for Farmville Central, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4-2.
