Baseball Recap: Legacy's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Legacy was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Mansfield Summit on Thursday. The Legacy Leopards put the hurt on the Mansfield Summit Jaguars with a sharp 11-2 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Leopards as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Legacy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Mansfield Summit, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Legacy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-1 win against South Oak Cliff on the 8th. As for Mansfield Summit, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-3 victory against Crowley on the 7th.
