Volleyball Recap: Eastside Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Eastside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Trenton Tigers. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-22, 21-25, 25-13.

Eastside's offense was headlined by Taylor Flowers and Kaylee Ovia, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Kayana Mickens and her five assists. Flowers also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Tejaswi Yatham, racking up three apiece.

Eastside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Trenton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastside will host Interlachen at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trenton, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Bell at 6:30 p.m.
