South kept a clean sheet against Winfield on Friday. They blew past the Vikings 8-0. South's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Their offense was hitting Winfield from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Marin Morris led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

South's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Winfield, they dropped their record down to 0-6-1 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

South didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-0 victory against Arkansas City on the 15th. As for Winfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, an 8-0 loss against Augusta on the 14th.
