Softball Recap: Chaparral Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Chaparral was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They lost 18-2 to the Hatch Valley Bears. The Lobos haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Chaparral saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sarah Rizo, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hatch Valley beat Chaparral by a score of 19-4 later that day.
