Soccer Game Preview: Lindbergh vs. Cedarcrest

The Lindbergh Eagles will head out to face off against the Cedarcrest Red Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Saturday. Lindbergh came out on top against Cleveland by a score of 3-1.

Lindbergh hit Cleveland with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Yaretzi Ruiz, Olivia Demar, and Sydney Johnson.

Meanwhile, Cedarcrest waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They put the hurt on the Red Hawks with a sharp 7-1 win. Cedarcrest might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by three goals or more this season.

Cedarcrest's victory bumped their record up to 13-4-1. As for Lindbergh, their win bumped their record up to 11-5-2.

Lindbergh suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Cedarcrest in their previous matchup on Tuesday. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
