Volleyball Recap: St. Francis Falls to Cheylin in First Game of Season

St. Francis unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Cheylin Cougars on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

While St. Francis had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20.

Cheylin now has a winning record of 1-0-1.

Coincidentally, St. Francis and Cheylin will both be playing Northern Valley the next time they take the court. The Indians will host the Huskies at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Cougars will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
