Basketball Game Preview: Everman Bulldogs vs. Mansfield Timberview Wolves

Everman is 0-9 against Mansfield Timberview since February of 2018 but things could change on Friday. Both will meet in a canine-themed contest at 12:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Everman's tournament run continued when they took on Lamar on Friday. Everman took a 37-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lamar.

Meanwhile, Mansfield Timberview unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 69-62 to Mansfield Legacy.

Everman will have to contain Dani Milliner as she made an impact in Mansfield Timberview's last game. She went 7 of 15 on her way to 18 points. Milliner has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Sydney Gamble, who posted eight points.

Even though they lost, Mansfield Timberview was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive contests.

Everman's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Mansfield Timberview, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10.
