Basketball Recap: Center Point Takes a Loss

After flying high against Cornerstone last Thursday, Center Point came back down to earth. The Center Point Eagles took a blow against the Springville Tigers on Monday, falling 56-28. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 386th, while the Tigers are ranked 115th).

Center Point dropped their record down to 2-16 with the loss, which was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Springville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Center Point has already played their next game (against Alabama Aerospace and Aviation), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Springville has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Mortimer Jordan.
