Foothill will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Monte Vista on Friday. Foothill blew past Monte Vista 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won six matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

He has become a key player for Bear Creek: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-8 otherwise. Logan Peterson was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
Bear Creek always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.
Foothill's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Bear Creek, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-8.
Bear Creek's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Foothill hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .317.
