Montclair and Millburn are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long. The Mounties will take on the Millers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Montclair will be strutting in after a win while Millburn will be coming in after a loss.

On Monday, Montclair needed a bit of extra time to put away Barringer. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Blue Bears 4-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mounties.

Meanwhile, Millburn came up short against West Orange on Monday, falling 9-2. The Millers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Millburn saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was RJ DiMinni, who went 2-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Millburn now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Montclair, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-4.

Montclair came out on top in a nail-biter against Millburn in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mounties since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
