Softball Recap: Grover Cleveland Has No Trouble Against Townsend Harris

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grover Cleveland). Everything went their way against the Townsend Harris Hawks on Thursday as they made off with a 25-13 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Presidents, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win got Grover Cleveland back to even at 2-2. As for Townsend Harris, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.

Grover Cleveland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-0 loss against Jamaica on the 4th. As for Townsend Harris, they will head out on the road to square off against Metropolitan at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Metropolitan has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.4 runs per game on average), something Townsend Harris will no doubt try to take advantage of.
