The Fort Meade Miners will challenge the Lakeland Christian Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Lakeland Christian took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Fort Meade, who comes in off a win.

Fort Meade is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Frostproof a 7-0 shutout. That looming 7-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Miners yet this season.

They hit Frostproof with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Avalyn Hernandez (4), Elizabeth Perez (2), and Daniela Garcia.

Meanwhile, Lakeland Christian fell victim to St. Johns Country Day and their airtight defense on Saturday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 3-0.

Fort Meade has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four games. As for Lakeland Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-6-3 record this season.
