Reed-Custer can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Lisle Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Comets have posted since March 24th.

Reed-Custer's victory bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Lisle, they dropped their record down to 4-15 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Reed-Custer will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
