Softball Recap: Waterloo Takes a Loss

Waterloo managed to slip by Lauderdale County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cougars lost 17-2 to the Tigers on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Cougars couldn't push the score so high this time.

Waterloo's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Lauderdale County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-13 record this season.

Waterloo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-4 loss against Florence on the 9th. As for Lauderdale County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-5 defeat against Mars Hill Bible on the 9th.
