Volleyball Recap: Juarez Gets the Win

The Juarez Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Carver Challengers on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Juarez had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-14, 25-18.

Juarez picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Juarez will head out to take on Kelly at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Carver, they will venture away from home to square off against Hyde Park at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
