Baseball Recap: East Stroudsburg South Comes Up Short

East Stroudsburg South was the 3-0 winner over Tamaqua when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. East Stroudsburg South fell just short of Tamaqua by a score of 4-3 on Saturday.

James Rabbitt spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on four hits.

On the hitting side, East Stroudsburg South saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Liam Huffman, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

East Stroudsburg South's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Tamaqua, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Stroudsburg South will square off against Pocono Mountain East at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tamaqua, they will challenge Blue Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
