Volleyball Recap: River Mill Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Savanna Dishmon and Ja'siah Mack + How To Watch

River Mill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Oxford Prep Griffins.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-20, 23-25, 25-14.

River Mill's loss came despite strong showings from Ja'Siah Mack and Savanna Dishmon. Mack had 11 digs, while Dishmon had 16 digs and six kills. Mack has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

River Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Oxford Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.

Coming up, River Mill will look to defend their home court on Friday against Ascend Leadership at 6:00 p.m. As for Oxford Prep, they will head out to challenge Vance Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
