Basketball Game Preview: West Fork Warhawks vs. Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS

The West Fork Warhawks will venture away from home to challenge Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. West Fork is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, West Fork came up short against Nashua-Plainfield and fell 71-61.

Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They managed a 51-47 win over Estherville Lincoln Central on Saturday.

West Fork's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.

Everything came up roses for West Fork against Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS in their previous matchup back in December of 2014, as the squad secured a 73-38 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Fork since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
