After a string of four wins, New Albany's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They lost to the Ingomar Falcons on the road by a 60-43 margin. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kylan King, who went 5 of 9 en route to 10 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Simpson, who posted six points.

Olen Faulkner had an outrageously good game for Ingomar as he went 6 of 8 on his way to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Tillery, who had eight points and ten rebounds.

New Albany's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Ingomar, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-7.

New Albany wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 65-45 victory against North Pontotoc on the 14th. As for Ingomar, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-35 win against Palmer on the 14th.
