Soccer Recap: Ottawa Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Ottawa was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They came up short against the Kaneland Knights, falling 9-0. Ottawa haven't had much luck with Kaneland recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Ottawa's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Kaneland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ottawa will venture away from home to take on Princeton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kaneland, they will head out to challenge LaSalle-Peru at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kaneland are facing LaSalle-Peru at the right time seeing as LaSalle-Peru are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
