Basketball Recap: Evans Comes Up Short

Evans played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 55-35 to the Laney Wildcats. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Evans has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Laney, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Evans will take on Burke County in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Burke County will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Evans surely won't give up without a fight. Laney and Midland Valley will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
