Football Recap: Morristown Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Morristown's offense. They had to suffer through a 40-0 loss at the hands of the Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ayden Jonas threw for 91 yards on 14 of 20 attempts. Thane Cole was his top target, picking up 44 receiving yards.

Morristown's loss dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Morristown will take on Tri-State Crusaders at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The King's Crusaders' defense has only allowed six points per game this season, so the Yellow Jackets' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, they will face off against Oklahoma School for the Deaf at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
