Soccer Game Preview: Cocoa Beach vs. Bayside

The Cocoa Beach Minutemen are taking a road trip to take on the Bayside Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Monday, everything went Cocoa Beach's way against Mainland as Cocoa Beach made off with a 12-1 victory. The Minutemen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Bayside was forced to settle for a draw. They and Melbourne finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw on Monday.

Cocoa Beach pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 49 goals over those six games. With that draw, Bayside's record moves to 8-3-1.

Cocoa Beach might still be hurting after the 9-0 loss they got from Bayside in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Cocoa Beach avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
