Volleyball Recap: Arvin Bears vs. Fresno Christian Eagles

Arvin was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Fresno Christian work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 27-25.

Carolina Navarro paced Arvin's offense, picking up six kills. Navarro got some help from Destiny Robles and her eight assists. Finally, Navarro was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.

Arvin's loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 26-9-3. As for Fresno Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 24-18 record this season.
