Basketball Recap: Central Kitsap Comes Up Short

Central Kitsap was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were dealt a 62-33 loss at the hands of the Silas Rams. The contest marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Central Kitsap's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Silas, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Central Kitsap and Gig Harbor will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Silas, they will head out to challenge Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Silas knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Lincoln likes a good challenge.
