Basketball Recap: St. Paul Takes a Loss

St. Paul was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-36 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mulberry Yellowjackets. The Saints were probably out for revenge after losing 39-29 to them when the teams met back in November of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Paul's record now sits at 2-11. As for Mulberry, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 3-12 record.

When St. Paul and Mulberry next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. St. Paul will try to stop Western Yell County's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Meanwhile, Mulberry will try to stop Scranton's three-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
