Baseball Recap: Middletown Islanders vs. Narragansett Mariners

Middletown won against Prout last Monday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Middletown Islanders never let the Narragansett Mariners onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Middletown.

Evan Agren made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only two hits while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Agren was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Evan Levasseur was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

On Narragansett's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Hohl, who went 2-for-3 with a stolen base.
