Basketball Recap: Sussex County Tech Comes Up Short

Sussex County Tech was the 47-39 winner over Newton when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Sussex County Tech took a 56-40 bruising from the Newton Braves on Thursday. Sussex County Tech has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sussex County Tech now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Newton, the win snapped their losing streak at 16 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-1 record.

Sussex County Tech won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Cedar Grove at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Newton and Warren Hills Regional will round out the year against one another at at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
