            Basketball Recap: Moffat County Bulldogs vs. Aspen Skiers        
        
		
        
        
            Moffat County was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight  defeat. They came up short against  the Aspen Skiers, falling  70-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Bulldogs have suffered  against the Skiers since March 6, 2021.
 Moffat County lost  despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being   Jr Welch, who  went 5 for 8  on his way to 13  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Trayson Carlson, who  posted nine  points and three  steals.
 Aspen's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Joshua Ford, who  went 6 of 8  on his way to 15 points.  Giovanni Seeman was another key player,  putting up eight  points.
Moffat County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Aspen,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 8-3.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moffat County will challenge Grand Junction at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Aspen, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Coal Ridge  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Coal Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.5  points per game  this season.
