Softball Recap: Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran Picks Up Sixth Straight Win on the Road

Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran lost to Oconto back in May of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Blazers walked away with an 8-3 win over the Blue Devils. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blazers.

Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Oconto, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran will challenge Hilbert at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Oconto, they will head out to face off against Sevastopol at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
