Basketball Recap: Acton-Boxborough Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Acton-Boxborough The Revolution didn't have quite enough to beat the Glastonbury Guardians and fell 47-44. While losing is never fun, the The Revolution can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 91st in Massachusetts, while the Guardians are ranked 19th in Connecticut).

Acton-Boxborough has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Glastonbury, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Acton-Boxborough has already played their next contest (against Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Glastonbury will take on Windsor at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Windsor will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Glastonbury surely won't give up without a fight.
